What is the difference between a roll-up and a folding wheelchair ramp?
The MIOR ROLL rolls up vertically like a mat — ideal for longer lengths and fixed locations. The MIOR FOLD folds in the middle and is more compact to transport by car. Both support 400 kg and are suitable for powered wheelchairs.
Which wheelchair ramp is best for home use?
For home use at a front or back door, the MIOR ROLL is the most popular choice. No installation needed, modular in length and compact to store. For higher or more complex situations, MIOR CUSTOM may be an option.
Are MIOR wheelchair ramps suitable for heavy mobility scooters?
Yes. All MIOR wheelchair ramps support 400 kg — suitable for manual wheelchairs, powered wheelchairs and heavy mobility scooters. MIOR has tested this load capacity itself and stands behind it.
Can I use a wheelchair ramp temporarily?
