Request Quote →MIOR wheelchair ramps start from approximately €1,100 for a standard 2-meter roll-up ramp (ROLL model, 80 cm wide). Foldable models (FOLD) cost €1,000-€1,600 depending on length and width. Fixed vehicle ramps (DRIVE) range between €1,300-€2,200. Exact prices depend on length, width, and configuration. Use our ramp calculator for an immediate price indication.
The required length depends on threshold height and desired slope angle. Accessibility guidelines recommend a slope of 1:12 (for every cm of height, you need 12 cm of length). Example: for a 30 cm threshold, you need a ramp of at least 360 cm. For short thresholds, a steeper slope may suffice depending on the type of wheelchair and user. Use our WEXAR app or ramp calculator to calculate the recommended length based on your specific situation.
Yes! The MIOR ROLL roll-up wheelchair ramp is specially designed for use without drilling, screws, or permanent attachment. Perfect for rental properties, historic buildings, or temporary solutions. The ramp remains stable through its own weight (8.2 kg/m) and anti-slip profile. For ramps longer than 220 cm, we recommend optional support legs for extra stability. Both FOLD and ROLL models are suitable for use without fixed mounting.
Roll-up wheelchair ramps (MIOR ROLL) roll up vertically like a mat, ideal for longer lengths and compact storage. They're flexible and adapt to uneven surfaces. Foldable wheelchair ramps (MIOR FOLD) fold in the middle and are stiffer, perfect for frequent transport in vehicles. ROLL is better for fixed locations (homes, shops), FOLD is better for mobile use (caregivers, taxis). Both have 400 kg load capacity and are suitable for electric wheelchairs.
Yes, all MIOR wheelchair ramps have a 400 kg load capacity and are designed for electric wheelchairs, heavy mobility scooters, and manual wheelchairs. The 6082-T6 aluminum frame is designed based on Eurocode load calculations. The anti-slip surface and 8 cm side edges ensure safe passage, even in wet weather. For heavier applications, the DRIVE model is available with an optional support leg — contact us for specifications.
Yes. MIOR wheelchair ramps are made from 6082-T6 aluminum with corrosion-resistant treatment, suitable for year-round outdoor use. The material is resistant to rain, snow, and frost. The anti-slip surface remains effective in wet weather. For optimal lifespan, we recommend cleaning twice a year with water and mild soap. Aluminum does not rust and is naturally weather-resistant.
ROLL and FOLD models require NO installation - simply roll out or unfold and use. Installation literally takes seconds. For the DRIVE vehicle model, we recommend professional installation as it's permanently attached to vehicle floor rails. CUSTOM modular systems are installed by experienced installers. For standard wheelchair ramps, no tools or technical knowledge is required.
All MIOR wheelchair ramps come with a 2-year manufacturer's warranty on material and construction defects. The warranty covers manufacturing defects, weld seam cracks, and structural defects under normal use. Normal wear and tear, misuse (overloading, false use), cosmetic damage, or incorrect installation are not covered. After the warranty period, we offer maintenance and repair service at cost price. Spare parts are available on request.

Depending on your country, several reimbursement options may be available: • In the Netherlands: The Wmo (Social Support Act) allows municipalities to fund ramps for home accessibility. Apply via your local Wmo desk. A needs assessment follows, after which the municipality decides. MIOR provides the required quotes and technical documentation. • PGB (Personal Budget): If you receive a PGB through Wmo or Wlz (Long-term Care Act), you can use it to purchase a ramp. • UWV / Workplace accommodations: In some cases, UWV may provide funding for workplace adaptations or aids needed for work or reintegration. • Health insurance: Ramp funding usually runs through the municipality (Wmo), not through health insurance. Whether your insurer covers anything depends on your individual policy and situation — check with your provider. Tip: Always contact your municipality or care advisor first. Depending on your situation, the Long-term Care Act (Wlz) may also be relevant. Application procedures typically take 6-8 weeks.
Step 1: Contact your municipality's Wmo desk (by phone or online). Step 2: A consultant visits for a needs assessment. Step 3: The municipality may commission an independent review. Step 4: You receive a decision (approval or rejection). Step 5: Upon approval, choose a supplier or receive a personal budget. Important tips: • Ask in advance which documents are needed (medical statement, photos of the threshold). • The municipality must decide within 8 weeks. • You can appeal a rejection. • MIOR can provide a free measurement and quote for your application. • For rental properties: also consult your landlord — some housing associations have their own arrangements.
MIOR does not currently offer a rental service, but alternatives exist. Some municipalities provide ramps on loan through the Wmo — no purchase costs involved. Home care shops and aid depots sometimes rent ramps for short periods (events, holidays). For long-term use, purchasing is usually more cost-effective. MIOR ramps are built from corrosion-resistant 6082-T6 aluminium for years of intensive use. Contact us for advice on the best option for your situation.
